Common Questions

CAMP FAQ

What's the difference between a day camp and a week camp?

Only the length. Both run 8am–5pm with the same daily structure — a day camp covers a single day off school, a week camp covers a full break week. The calendar decides which one you need.

What does a day actually look like?

Basketball: 8am–8:30am is cardio and a warmup, 8:30am–12pm is skill building, lunch 12pm–1pm, then game time 1pm–4pm and supervised free play 4pm–5pm. Art: a guided project 8am–12pm, lunch, then a fresh afternoon session 1pm–5pm. Basketball & Art alternates — basketball 8am–10am, art 10am–12pm, lunch, basketball 1pm–3pm, art 3pm–5pm. The full breakdown is above.

When can I register?

Dates falling September through December open on July 15. Dates falling January through June open on January 1. Any date that isn't open yet shows its opening date right on the chip above.

The camp starts today — can we still get in?

Online registration closes once a camp begins, but that doesn't mean it's full. Call or text 347-696-1989 and we'll tell you what's available.

Can my child do basketball and art in the same day?

Yes. The combined option splits the day between basketball and art — $150 for a day camp, $500 for a week camp. It's the option most kids ask for twice.

Is a uniform required?

Yes, at every session — no uniform, no participation. Uniforms aren't sold through online registration — call or text 347-696-1989 or email info@eliteskills.org to order one. See the full Uniform Policy.

What should my child bring?

The Elite Skills uniform and a water bottle — plus basketball sneakers for court sessions. We provide everything else: equipment for basketball and supplies for art. There's a lunch break 12pm–1pm every day.

Who's coaching my child?

Every coach on staff — on the court and in the art room — is background-checked, vetted to work with youth, and AED and First Aid certified.

Do you offer make-ups?

No — we don't offer make-ups. Every participant attends their own designated class or camp date; you can't attend a different day, time, or session in place of one you missed.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds after the first session.

What ages do you take?

Ages 3 and up, and every camp is co-ed.
